I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and moved to Southern California in 1999.

 

I’ve walked through seasons where I felt depleted, unseen, and unworthy. I wore every hat—mother, grandmother, daughter, friend—but somewhere along the way, I lost myself. My “I am” statements became chains: I am tired. I am not enough. I can’t. My dreams turned to ashes, and I wondered if I’d ever feel alive again.

But God... ​He heard my cry, reached into the ashes, and reminded me of who I truly am—not who the world says I should be, but who He says I am: His treasure. Forgiven. Victorious. Set free. Crowned with glory and honor. In that moment, I realized I wasn’t called to merely survive—I was called to flourish. The fire I thought was gone forever? God reignited it, and it burns brighter and brighter every day.
